Daddy/Daughter Dance 2015

Margaux and Daddy went to the Daddy/Daughter Dance on February 6th at the River Forest Community Center. Margaux had a lot of fun this year, since she also had a group of friends that were attending. The was a dinner/ice cream sundae buffet, a corsage table, manicures and dancing. She chose her own dress this year, as well as her own hairstyle. My big girl.

January 2015 Things

Margaux hosted her first official sleep over with my Goddaughter, Addy.
 Happy girls.
All ready to go see Disney On Ice: Frozen

Her 100th Day of School project.
She just loves kindergarten! We are very happy with our decision to send her to our local school.

NYE 2015

Gone are the days when we would go out on the town and get completely crazy on New Year's Eve, but ah, the memories!  Once again, we stayed in with our girl and filled our tummies with yummy fondue, watched the ball drop in NYC and then cozied down to sleep. Hoping that 2015 is good to us!

December 2014: The Fun, The Merry & The Scary

Our girl is starting to make her own decisions about hair and fashion. She decided to got for a shorter hairstyle. Looks fab!

Our annual tree cutting at Richardson's in Spring Grove, IL.

Her personalized ornaments for each year.
Riding the ferris wheel at Navy Pier's Winter Wonder Fest.
Dressed up as Anna for Ema's birthday party!
 Anna & Elsa
Checking out Macy's holiday windows on our way to the Christkindl Market.

The school holiday program. You sing that Suzy Snowflake, Margaux!

Santa and the reindeer were hungry!
 Bingo's annual farewell letter.
 'Twas the night before Christmas...

 Uncle Charlie!
 The young grand/great grands.

Still upset after the drama of losing her first tooth while opening gifts. Uncle Doug loved her up!
She already has a replacement that had grown in behind the other.
Make me a deal, Tooth Fairy!
 Tooth Fairy pillow cottage.
All was well and fun until she was jumping around and face planted on Grandpa & Grandma's coffee table with her mouth! Blood was spurting everywhere, her upper teeth were knocked loose, and she had a cut on her bottom lip and below it.
Very swollen lips and gum + four stitches. Poor, poor girl.  She made it through her toddler years without injury, and then it happens at age 6! The ED at McLaren Northern Michigan was wonderful!  Great staff and a wonderful physician tended to her.
